A simple breathing exercise to relax and prepare the body and mind for sleep.
|Lie down comfortably and allow your feet to drop to the sides.
Palms of the hands facing upwards and if necessary place a pillow underneath your head.
|Place a small weighted object (a rolled towel is sufficient) on your stomach.
– If you can’t feel the weight of the towel roll two towels into one
|Breathing with your nose;
– Raise the towel on the inhale
– Lower the towel on the exhale
Continue this exercise for 3-5 or 5-10 minutes and allow yourself to develop a relaxed state of mind
